Happy Friday to all you...tis going to be a good day right?
This week did fly by, but on the other hand it seemed to drag too! I do not know about you other teachers, but our kids at school have been super squirrely this week. They are acting like it is more spring and love and ruckus is in the air. Crazy for sure and sometimes it just makes me a bit cranky!
It is a 3 day weekend for a lot of us and this year is special because along with celebrating MLK birthday, we have the inaguaration! I can hardly wait for Tuesday to be able to share this historic moment with them. My students have been working on an art project tied into MLK's speach of "I Have a Dream" and basically they had to interpet his speech through art work. It has taken a lot of thought on their parts....actually it has been hard because they have been forced to get an understanding of figurative speech. Good for them actually and I did get moans and groans of....I thought this was art! LOL I will post some work when they are complete....they are an almost!
So what are you plans for the weekend? Are you going to do something fun? I know we all have responsibilities, but there comes a time when you have to do something fun...can't be all nose to the grindstone for sure!
I know I get grandma duty tomorrow....like I so hate that. I will get to spend time with both of the together....YAY!!! I am also going to ride my motorcycle on Sunday with hubby...the weather is stunning out here in the desert....yesterday when I was coming home from work it was 87. I know that sounds hot for this time of the year, but it is not that hot....it is just pleasant because of the position of the sun this time of year....imagine January!

i'm up supper early.. the week has flown by ,., my plans for the weekend is to organize my stuff.. i'm spending the whole weekend with my bf.. i hope we get along .. i was at my sister's the other night and we played rock band 2 and i sang and i had hella fun.. i want a 360 it's so much fun i kicked my sisters but in mortal combat too...
i did want to report that my clothes are fitting bigger so i have to go through my clothes and give them away to my niece...i'm gonna start walking today tooo i need excersize badly.. well that's it for me today i hope everyone has a great day...

First I would like to say thanks for all of the love, suggestions, and support for my vitamin post. I am happy to report that I got them all in yesterday for the first time. Its a start right? Anyhoo I agree that the kids are squirrly. With this being our first week back and only a few more weeks until finals, it was so not helpful. Made it a long week for me for sure. Glad for the long weekend.
We have no plans to speak of this weekend. A co-worker of mine that is pregnant is suppose to come by and get anything she wants that I can no longer use. It is amazing to see how many baby things I have that my munchkin has out grown.

Happy Friday!!! I am one of those that do not get a long weekend for MLK..........bummer..... Oh well, I will take what I get and make the most of it! I also have Grandma duty this weekend! 
I will have Tommy and his little brother Kingsley tonight while their Mom goes out to a show of some kind... I can't wait!
Kingsley took about 10 steps! I can't believe it, he is such a fast lil' buggar! 
I knew he would get this this going. He's only 9 months.......

You're funny!!! LuLu took that pic of me when I met her recently in Riverside. I think I am going to use it for my yearbook pic..I hate the one that they took for school pics...I look like a deer caught in the headlights. I do not know why the pic is not showing up on my screen.
Anywho...that is awesome that Kingsley is walking....I cannot believe it. Although Hunter has started to take some steps with only holding on with one hand. Neither one of my boys walked until they were 14 and 15 months old. I attributed it to their size because they were so big. Hunter weighed in at a whopping 27 pds on Tuesday and was 35 inches. He is kind of a big boy! His dad was bigger and so was his uncle...but Hunt is well on his way to carrying on the height in their family and mine!

Today I am at work early, cuz my grandson is in a spelling bee contest today. This is the third level. The last two he has come in first place...Boy, I love that little guy!!!
Not much for the weekend. Tomorrow I plan on cleaning out the garage and getting rid of a bunch of stuff. Then Sunday were going to an engagement party....
Oh, I forgot to post...my daughter is getting married!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They plan on getting married in 2010 and I am so excited!!!

Happy Friday...today I have my appt with my PCP for the clearance for my surgery and to get the pre op tests done....its getting closer and I am so excited.....
Yesterday was a stay home day - I cleaned the house (cause I fired my house cleaner last month) then went for a swim - so I say I totally got my exercise yesterday...
I guess thats about it for me - nothing exciting going on - so time for a cup of coffee and the newspapers then get ready to be at the Dr at 8:30

Well today 1 of my kids has Friday school and another has a performance. So I will be busy dropping off and picking up today. I started recovering my dining room chairs yesterday and I hope to finish them today. My husband went back to work yesterday after being off for 4 1/2 months. (lets hope this is a long job) He works for the union and the job could be 1 day or 10 years you never know. Well I thank God he is back to work as he has to save up for my tummy tuck a boobie job! Saturday I wanted to go play with a dear friend but my husband wants the garage cleaned and since I am going to Disneyland on Sunday he said 2 days was toomuch. So I wil have to reschedule the hanging out with friend. Thank God she is flexible and understands. Monday my husband has to work so I will have all 6 kids home and bugging me! lol. I think I will take them all on a picnic to the park or something, walk them there and back and maybe they will be so tired they will sleep all afternoon? I don't think so, but it is worth a try. Well nothing else is new other than my Disney trip on Sunday. I have never been to Disney land at this size I believe I will fit in the rides, but I am still nervous. Last time I went on a ride was over 15 years ago before I was pregnant with my son. So this will be interesting. I am used to holding everyones stuff and just people watching, not participating, but I tell you I am going to ride every ride in site if I fit! lol. Wish me luck on SUnday. Janine enjoy your babies this weekend. I have fallen in love with Hunter, and you better watch out because if I get the chance I am go to put him in my purse and make a dash for it. He would fit right in with my group and one more I would hardley notice! lol. Diane C how is your knee doing? I have been thinking alot about you, and being wrapped in bubble wrap, you can only image the thought of seeing you wrapped up looking like a sumo wrestler in bubble wrap just makes me crack up at the thought! Hope you are doing better. Steve my prayers and thoughts are with you. Lu, I miss you girl, we have got to get together. MOMO How are my red pants doing? I hope you are taking good care of them you skinny 11/12 girl! Well that is it for today. I forgot to post on Wednesday weigh in but I lost 2 lbs. Sorry Steve to mess you up. Everyone do something nice just for you today.
